Orders will take up to 5 days to process
It may take up to 10 business days to receive your wine, no matter which shipping type you have chosen.  We commonly ship both Ground orders to the West Coast and 2-day orders across the US Monday through Wednesday to avoid the chance of your wine sitting over the weekend.  Please keep in mind that Ground orders to the East Coast take over one week, so these orders will be shipped Monday through Friday.  Rest assured, VinFillment always checks the temperatures both along the route and at the destination to make sure that your wine arrives in perfect condition via all shipping methods.
2) Tracking Information from the Shipping Carrier
A tracking number is automatically sent by VinFillment, our fulfillment company, when your order is actually ready to ship. This email serves as notice that the shipping label has been printed and your wines will soon be in route. Note that the automated update is sent to the email you provide with the shipping address (not the billing address). Occasionally these updates get blocked by spam filters, so if at any time you’d like an update on the status of your order please contact us.
3) Adult Signatures and Shipping Charges for Returned Shipments
Based on FedEx regulations for delivering alcohol, an adult signature must be provided at the time of delivery. Therefore we highly recommend that you ship your wine to a business address. The shipping companies will attempt delivery three times. If they can not obtain an adult signature they will return your shipment to us and you will be charged for both the return shipment as well as the second shipping attempt.
4) Shipping Delays due to Extreme Weather
Due to extreme heat or cold throughout the US, ground shipping will be delayed until it is safe to ship your wine along the entire carrier route. (Just because the weather breaks at home, weather along your wine's route may mean further delays). Please be assured that we work very closely with our fulfillment company to ensure that you are able to get your wine at the earliest possible time, but that the condition of your wine order is our highest priority.
