Gorgeous plum, blackcurrant, rose and violet aromatics fill your glass, leading you to flavours that explode on your palate with layers of blackberry, licorice, and spicy sweet fruit. Super rich and opulent, this remarkable Shiraz finishes amazingly long with lovely hints of vanillan oak.
As you know, Mollydooker means Aussie for left-hander, so the label depicts a boxer with two left gloves; sure to knock you out! The 2005 was an enormous hit, after receiving 95 points from Robert Parker and being selected by him as the "Best Value Wine in the World under $20". Incredible Shiraz at an unbeatable price.
This wine is lovely to drink now, especially after a ‘Mollydooker Shake’. It will cellar, but why would you? We suggest you drink and enjoy it now, as we'll make you another next year!
