Reviews
Wine Advocate
A blend of 66% Shiraz and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2009 Enchanted Path was matured in 97% American and 3% French oak, 85% new and 15% one year. Very deep garnet-purple, it has a great intensity of cassis, blackberry, violet and eucalypt aromas with a whiff of coffee. Crisp in the full-bodied mouth, it has medium-firm very finely grained tannins, finishing long. The tight-knit palate suggests it should have more to give in 18-24 months, drinking to 2019+.' - 93 points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, www.erobertparker.com

Wine Spectator
'Broad and generous, with a sandy, spicy edge to the red cherry, blackberry and tar flavors, persisting with real elegance on the long, focused finish. Drink now through 2013.' — 91 points, Harvey Steiman, www.winespectator.com

Nick’s Wine Merchants
‘Totally opaque black crimson purple colour with very deep black crimson hue that stains the sides of the glass. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry and blackcurrant followed by some liquorice and confectionary. The palate is a heavy hitter with explosive super concentrated flavours of very ripe blackberry, liquorice and blackcurrant followed by some spice and toasty oak on the finish. Super fine grained almost velvet like tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice, spice and toasty oak..’ – 97 points, Nicks Wine Merchants, www.nicks.com.au

We Love Shiraz
‘‘When tasting the 2009 Enchanted Path I wrote in my notes "A mouth watering, singular event". This blend of Cabernet and Shiraz is harmonious, with a sweet jammy nose. The velvety tannins are balanced with luscious fruit with hints of black currants, blueberry and cherry. Wine lovers who find Shiraz a bit over-powering with fall in love with the cuvee because of its great marriage of Cabernet.’ -  95 points, Brian Pasch, www.weloveshiraz.com
