About This Wine:
The aromas instantly switch your brain into ‘relax’ mode while the flavours and soft tannins make this wine seem almost cuddly. It’s the perfect wine to enjoy when you’re unwinding from a hectic day.
The Scooter is so named for Sparky's scooter-racing years, when he would race 30 kilometers on a big-tire scooter.
This wine is lovely to drink now, especially after a good Mollydooker Shake.
Both the 2007 and our first vintage, the 2006 were awarded 91 points by The Wine Advocate. We have a few bottles of the 2007 vintage left (it’s one of Sparky’s Dad’s favorites!)

Grilled pork or a savoury BBQ chicken with a side of garlic potatoes. A roasted double-cut pork chop with cranberry applesauce is divine with this wine. It is also nice with breaded chicken thighs or schnitzel of any kind, and even goes great with a beet salad and ricotta cheese.
