2007 Sip It Forward

In 2008, Sarah set aside 1,000 cases of the 2007 Two Left Feet to be labeled and sold for our charity wine project with all proceeds going directly to benefit and support childrend in Cambodia. The 2007 Two Left Feet was rated 93-points by Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, so can drink great wine and lend a hand with every bottle you purchase by helping us Sip it Forward.

For a long time now Sparky and I have had a huge desire to help others less fortunate than ourselves. We were two young kids who met and fell in love at winemaking college, and since then have been able to build a business which not only brings us huge enjoyment, fun and friendship, but allows us to give our two children what they need to develop their talents and abilities. Living in a free and beautiful country that has never experienced war, we feel we have been incredibly blessed. In 2008 we set aside 1,000 cases of the 2007 Two Left Feet, to be bottled under a different label, with all of the proceeds going to charity. We asked our Mollydooker Mates to suggest a name for the wine and Ian Muncy from Ohio came up with ‘Sip it Forward'. We loved the name from the first time that we saw it.

We invited Ian to join us for Mollydooker Carnival 2009 in Napa, CA - here's the note we received when he returned home:

Sarah, Sparky, and the entire Mollydooker crew,

Katie and I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful hospitality on our visit out to Napa. You welcomed us openly and made us feel right at home, everyone was so wonderful and a real delight to get to know. The whole experience was surreal, drinking my favorite wines with my favorite winemakers in the beautiful Napa Valley! One of my friends who is also a big fan of your wines determined we have the stock to have our own 99 point tasting, I'll make sure to take pics if we do. Sip It Forward is a real hit with all of my friends I may to order more before its all gone they are going to take up all my stock! It's hilarious they want me to sign bottles! LOL I gave a signed bottle to the store where I got introduced to Mollydooker wines. Thanks for making our trip to Napa a once in a lifetime experience, maybe next time we can come to see you in Australia.
