About This Wine:

Named after Sparky's scooter racing years, the 2007 Scooter is a charming and inviting Merlot with delicate, sweet berry fruit, fine integrated tannins, and a beautifully long finish.

This wine is lovely to drink now.

The first vintage we made was 2006 which was awarded 91 points by The Wine Advocate.

Pairs with
Chicken or pork dishes are great. A grilled pork loin with red onion jam (cooked down in some Scooter) along with a side of beans almondine or creamed spinach with nutmeg make a yummy pairing. Also great with breaded chicken schnitzel.
