This remarkable blockbuster Shiraz has a superbly concentrated nose of licorice, plum, raisin and raspberry fruit. Bursting with spice, blueberry and expresso flavours intermixed with toasty oak vanillan, this brilliant wine finishes smoothly with an unctuous texture and fine, silky tannins.

This is the first vintage of our newest stunning Shiraz. Named after our own blue-eyed boy, Luke, we think it will be the apple of your eye too.

Vineyards
The grapes for this wine come from three incredible vineyards: Scott and Cheryl Longbottom’s in Padthaway, Darren and Belinda Joppich’s in Langhorne Creek, and the incredible Gateway vineyard in McLaren Vale.

Drink
Now thru 2012.  This wine is lovely to drink now, especially after a ‘Mollydooker Shake’. It will cellar, but why would you? We suggest you drink and enjoy it now, as we'll make you another one next year.

Pairs With
Savory full-flavored meats such as roasted lamb, beef short ribs or even spice-rubbed or barbequed chicken. Our Shiraz's match very well with aged, hard cheeses from cow or goat's milk such as sharp cheddar, parma or manchego. Especially delicious with dried cherries, salted marcona almonds and dark chocolate.
